What a fantastic show and reception we had! I am already looking forward to next year. All of my students worked very hard on their artwork and each one was a very special stepping stone in their artistic journeys.
The winners of the 1st annual Young Artist Awards are as follows:
FIRST PLACE: Ava Bianco of Garden City (Dog portrait in watercolor)
SECOND PLACE: Eva Vitale of Garden City (Horse portrait in colored pencil)
THIRD PLACE: James Hastings of Lynbrook (Chinese dragon in graphite)

EQUINE LIFE DRAWING
FALL 2024 EVENT TBA
Bring your drawing supplies & something to sit on and join us for two hours of equine anatomy & life drawing at the beautiful Hunter’s Grove Stables in Glen Head! This event is open to students of all ages (ages 8+ and including adults) who would like to try observational life drawing. You do not need to be a current GCDB student to attend.
